About MEC
Minnesota Employment Center (MEC):
- Has helped deaf and hard of hearing people join the workforce for more than 15 years
- Provides clients with free, on-the-job training in American Sign Language (ASL)
- Works with employers and employees for successful job placements
- Is a joint effort of Rise, Inc., Lifetrack Resources, and Minnesota Vocational Rehabilitation Services
To qualify for MEC services, you must be:
- Deaf or Hard of Hearing
- Age 16 or older
- Eligible consumer of Minnesota Vocational Rehabilitation
